GFL offers a wide range of training and CPD opportunities to help teachers and early years practitioners develop and use their outdoor spaces.
Each term we offer courses that individuals can join. Click here for the current list of courses, venues and dates.
A training course designed for you We offer a range of courses we can run for a Local Authority as part of its CPD programme. For school courses click here For early years courses click here Or contact aanderson@ltl.org.uk to tailor something to your needs
Beyond training - putting it into practice We recognise that changing teaching practice often needs more than just an inspiring training day. Our 'putting it into practice programme' provides an opportunity for teachers to mix training sessions with planning, running and reflecting on outdoor lessons with their own pupils in their own grounds. With dedicated support and peer learning opportunities this has proved to be a highly effective approach. click here for futher details.
Authority-Wide Conferences We design and run conferences at an Authority level, bringing together a large number of teachers to hear from leading practitioners. Our events are highly participative and practical and designed to inspire as well as equip teachers with practical ideas that they can take back and apply in their own schools and settings. Contact aanderson@ltl.org.uk to discuss your needs.
Our 2010 National Conference is on the 12th March at SNH's headquarters in Battleby. To register interest or for more details contact aanderson@ltl.org.uk
